Gee not many comments here about a really ace database. I have been browsing it and seeing what it can do. The interface is nice and clean and well designed. The site is fast. The idea of being able to add places to caves and establish links between them is quite neat - it may even be quite novel. Its certainly useful.
I came across this site as I was searching for other cave databases. The Australian Speleological Federation has one that I set up a few years ago at http://www.caves.org.au click on "Karst Index Database" and I was looking too what others have done. Well done to Barry and any others who set up cavedatabase.co.uk |
